Hello all,

I am getting this error while I trying to capture with the iRayple camera. After doing some research, I believe it might be other processes already taking the control of the camera. Is there any way to find out who is taking control of the camera?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best,
KuanYu

Hi,

I may try to read registers 0xa04 and 0xa014, they should contain the port and the IP address and of the controlling application.

```auto
arv-tool-0.8 control R[0xa04] R[0xa014]
```

But it looks like not all devices implement these registers. The standard naming is `GevPrimaryApplicationSocket` and `GevPrimaryApplicationIPAddress`.

Emmanuel.
