Are there any up to date packaging options available for aravis?
I am currently only aware of debian packages for aravis-0.6.
Are there any packages for master that can be referred to or is manual building required?
If so would it be ok to host those packages?

I’m maintaining a COPR repository with packages for Fedora, CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise. It is available here: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/emmanuelp/Aravis/ . At some point it looked like there was some interest and effort in making Aravis available in the main fedora repository, but it never materialized.
I’m not sure if it is doable to automate the build of packages as part of the Continuous Integration process, but that is something that could be investigated.
