As aravis is mostly a one person project, during free time, there is no release planning. I was hoping to release 0.8 for the tenth anniversary of aravis, but that will not happen.
The last work I want to finish before the 0.8 release is the integration/rework of the usb async patch. That may happen during the next month, but without any guarantee…
